unfinished thought

it's not that his smiles are any less charming
just because he uses them to punctuate
the joyful buckings of a healthy little body
at three o'clock
on monday morning

"Lingis' is the code for this comment. Perhaps as in Alphonso Lingis, an American philosopher "who holds that the world is made up of numerous self-contained and mutually external levels, to which humans must adjust their perceptions and ideas." No doubt one of those levels is populated by mothers and babies enjoying - or not enjoying - their own late night world.
